KATY'S ePORTFOLIO

This is my Egyptian Mask. We cut out the shape of the face on two pieces of paper. Then we decorated it, using gold markers, sharpies, and other scraps of paper.
Some risks I took while creating this piece were that I risked messing up every penstroke I drew. I had to make the mask symmetrical, and though I did not do it perfectly, the mask is somewhot symmetrical. If I could improve on this piece I would draw more. While making the mask, I was too afraid to add important details, worried I'd mess up.

This is my 2-Point perspective of a city. You had to have to vanishing points (where the road disappears). We used watercolor pencils to color it in. As you can see, the water color (or me) didn't entirely work for the sky. After this, as you can hopefully tell, I went for the messy and artistic look to match the sky.
