Our second unit in Social Studies was Mesopotamia. We learned all about the Mesopotamians' inventions, irrigation, rivers, geography, and did really fun things in class. At the end of the unit, we created a "Cake Map" with our group- Kyle V., Olvia H., Angela, Yu, and I. It was really fun eating the cake at the end :).
Also in the Mesopotamia unit, our class participated in a "River Simulation", where we were supposed to work together to properly direct water (marbles) into reservoirs without having floods. The pictures are below:
